Beginning Napkin Basket (2 sessions)
Tuesday, June 4th & Thursday, June 6th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Ages: 16+ years old
This class teaches you how to weave a 9" x 9" napkin basket. During this class, you will create your own heirloom-quality basket using primitive weaving techniques. Beginners can easily complete this class.
Please know that ACA's Gallery Classroom is in a historic building with steps.
Memory Pillows

Ages: 16+ years old
Participants will learn basic machine operation/techniques and make a memory pillow from a t-shirt or flannel/cotton shirt (labels available if creating one from a loved one). Participants can bring a machine, or one will be provided for use (please indicate on the sign-up form). Attendee needs to bring a shirt to use to create the pillow. It can be flannel/cotton or a T-shirt.

Ages: 16+ years old
In this two-session class, you will learn how to create a large 25" x 23" x 12" shoe/blanket/quilt basket using primitive weaving methods that utilize no glue, staples, or other fasteners. At the end of the class, you will have woven your own heirloom-quality basket

Gelli Printing: Primary Prints

Introduction to the process of gelli printing with opportunity to expand and personalize. Students will start by creating a series of paper stencils that will be used in their printing. Utilizing the primary colors as a starting point, students will create a series of prints. Opportunities for adding texture and collage elements.
Gelli Printing: Painted Paper

Ready to create a stash of painted paper? Use the gelli printing process to make various paper prints on a variety of papers (copy, deli, handmade, ect..) Materials such as stencils, texture plates, stamps, and found objects will be used with acrylic paint. Prerequisite for Collaging with Painted Paper
Gelli Printing: Collaging with Painted Paper

Create a collage using painted paper. Participants will paint a substrate, collage their printed papers using gel medium and finalize with acrylic accents. Participants can bring inspiration photos to work from. Prerequisite: Gelli Printing: Painted Paper
