Metalsmith Studio Open Hours

Thursday, January 23rd 5 pm to 9 pm 

Ages:  18+; 13-17 years old may participate with enrolled parent/guardian

Join us for open studio hours in our state-of-the-art metal studio. Full use of great equipment for fabrication and casting. An opportunity to network and share camaraderie and the joy of wearable art. Gases include natural/ oxygen, propane, butane, and oxyacetylene, as well as an electric gas melt furnace. Equipment includes a hydraulic press with multiple stakes and add one, steel rolling mill, solder stations, flex shafts, buffers, lathe, drill press, and a full supply of hand tools.

Casting Club  advanced level class

Saturdays February 8th and 15th

9 am to 1 pm 

Ages:  18+ years old

Learn or refresh Advanced jewelry techniques: Make molds of tiny bits of nature, buttons, and miniatures or carve your own design; burn out the kiln; create molten metals with an acetylene torch or gravity-induced centrifugal casting.
