What says love like a unique card you made yourself? Use movable hand-set metal and wood type on our vintage presses as you learn to print. You can also embellish them with collage, paper cuts, stencils, ribbon, or other media as desired. Materials and envelopes provided. For beginners or experienced printers.

Use recycled shipping bags to make trendy, homespun planter covers that are custom printed using antique movable wood and metal type on vintage sign presses. Bring your own paper Amazon bags or use ours. Make and take! Easy-peasy.

Put your monogram, decorative mark, or brief saying on a coaster set and gift bag, using antique movable wood and metal type on our vintage presses. Consider personalizing place cards and napkins. For beginners or experienced printers. Materials provided (though you can bring your own patterned paper napkins if you like).

All about Wool: Spinning, Felting and Natural Dyeing (4 weeks)

Taught at Tink and the Frog in downtown Adrian, 128 E MaumeeLearn what an amazing fiber wool is! Beginning and continuing students who wish to grow totheir spinning skills are invited to join the class. Using vintage spinning wheels learn how to prepare wool, make thread, ply and yield yarn suitable for knitting and crocheting or other fiber arts. Washed and carded prepared wool will be provided. Short introductions about natural dyeing and felting will be interspersed.Thursdays March 6-27, 5-7pm
Linocut Printmaking - Ode to the River Raisin

With Earth Day approaching, what better way to celebrate than to create art? Learn the art of linocut printmaking in this hands-on class, where we will carve designs that express care and appreciation for the river that defines our watershed.
In this workshop, you will learn how to hand carve and print a mono-color linoleum block print from start to finish. By the end of the session, everyone will have a reusable carved block and at least one final print to take home. Please bring a few images or sketches inspired by the River Raisin to use in your designs.
Please note this studio is in a historic building with steps.
The workshop fee covers all material costs. Beginners welcome!
