Take an everyday wooden disk and turn it into a winter wonderland scene perfect for the holidays.

Snowmen are a winter holiday tradition that is a symbol of joy. Everyone ofthem are a very unique piece of art!Students will create a couple of cold weather friends to help decorate forthe Holliday Season. They will use a variety of tools and colorful slipsprovided. Projects will be fired, glaze fired, ready to be picked up in 2 - 3weeks.

2 Mondays: December 7th & 14th * 10:00am - 12:00pm

Learn how easy and how much fun it is to draw on glass using an engraver.  Bring a picture from home of scenery, architecture, people or whatever, attach it to the back of your glass, and engrave away. These will be framed, if desired. You will also try etching cream and a stencil on a goblet or glass. You won’t believe what a genius you are and didn’t know it!

Join us to paint a step by step winter scene with a little fox. 

Thursday December 10th * 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Create a family heirloom that will be the highlite on your tree. 

IMPORTANT: Please wear long pants and closed toed shoes. 

Victorian Icicles (Make-and-Take) with Robin Schultes

Saturday, December 12th * 12:30pm - 3:30pm

Work with borosilicate tubing to create your shimmering icicles! Each student receives 6 glass blanks made of beautiful scalloped tubing to transform into beautiful winter Icicles!

Saturday December 12th * 1:00pm – 5:00pm

Come and make some metal Christmas Decor - trees and/or holly leaves! All materials provided.

IMPORTANT: Please wear a long sleeve shirt, long pants, covered toe shoes and hair ties if needed.

In this two hours class, we’ll discuss and see the process involved in making porcelain slip crystalline christmas ornaments.  There will be a demo with all the steps needed to complete an ornament.  Then class participants will have time to glaze two ornaments for glaze firing.  The ornaments will be ready to pick up by the following weekend.
